# Newline is not preserved

I’m trying to translate VLC and whenever I’m adding a newline character (or even copying it from the source) it doesn’t reflect in the save string, which means that sometimes I have to eliminate a space in the middle of the strings and sometimes I can’t save a string because of newlines mismatch.

What can I do?

Could you please tell us if this behavior is observed in a specific project/string?

What version of the browser are you using? Have you tried to use a different browser? Do you still face the same issue?

It’s not string specific, it’s browser specific, I can’t reproduce it with Chromium, it happens with Firefox.

Thanks for sharing this, our team currently working on solving this. As you mentioned this is happening only with Fitefox, so in the meantime, you can work with chrome or any other browsers while our team fix this behavior.
