We are happy to announce some updates to our WordPress plugin that will enhance your website’s multilingual capabilities.

#### New Features:

1. **Support for `hreflang="x-default"`:** We’ve added support for the `hreflang="x-default"` attribute, ensuring that your site can now properly handle situations where no specific language or region is targeted. The attribute `hreflang="x-default"` allows you to specify a default language and country for your website when it appears on Google in regions outside those defined in your hreflang tags.

2. **Configurable Source Language:** Previously, you could set the name of the subdirectory for each target language, which would appear directly after your domain. For example, if you used `fr` for your French pages, the URL for the French version of your Product page would look like this: `www.example.com/fr/product/`. Now, we have extended this option to allow you to configure your website’s source language as well. This can be done through the advanced settings of the WordPress plugin.

You can find more details about our latest release ( **1.3.38** ) [here](https://wordpress.org/plugins/transifex-live-integration/#developers). We encourage you to update to the latest version of the plugin and explore these new additions.

As always, your feedback is invaluable to us—please let us know your thoughts and any further improvements you’d like to see.
