More control over Transifex Live publishing with Per-Language status rules

We are excited to share a brand new enhancement to Transifex Live designed to give you greater flexibility and precision when taking your translations live.

Previously, when manually publishing translations through the Transifex Live sidebar, you had to apply a blanket rule for all languages at the bottom of the widget, choosing either to publish all translations or only reviewed translations across the board.

What’s New?

With our latest update, you can now set the completion status (all translations vs. only reviewed translations) individually per language before hitting publish.

This means you no longer have to compromise on your deployment workflows. For example, if your French translations needed to go through a stricter QA process and are now ready to go live, but you are comfortable publishing German strings without review, you can manage both simultaneously.

How to Use It:

  1. Open the Publish tab on the Transifex Live sidebar.

  2. Select your target (Production or Staging).

  3. Check the boxes for the languages you want to take live.

  4. For each selected language, utilize the individual status options to specify whether you want to publish all translations or restrict it to only reviewed content.

  1. Click the Publish to make your translations available to your website visitors.

:warning: Quick Reminder: As always, if you select the “reviewed” option for a language, make sure your team has marked those strings as reviewed in the editor. Otherwise, any unreviewed strings will fall back to displaying your original source language.
