Previously, users had to ensure that the source language of their Transifex project aligned perfectly with the default locale (set to en-us) of their Contentful space. This requirement sometimes posed challenges, especially for teams managing multilingual content across various locales.
But guess what? We’ve listened to your feedback and worked to bring you this exciting update, empowering you to unlock new possibilities in managing multilingual content with ease.
Introducing the Option to Select Your Preferred Source Language!
With Transifex’s latest release, you now have the power to choose the source language that best fits your needs, even if you’re managing multiple locales within the same Contentful environment. No more constraints or hassle of aligning with the default locale – this new flexibility puts you in control!
How It Works:
- Navigate to your Transifex project settings.
- Select the “Integrations” tab, locate Contentful, and click “Install.”
- After authorizing the app, click the “Link your space” button.
- In the configuration wizard, under the “Link space” step, choose your preferred source language for the project.
