Whitelisting Transifex from git hosting

Hi there!

Recently due to increasing AI agent traffic the VideoLAN (VLC) team has enforced Techaro protection on code.videolan.org, which means that you are being presented with an agent blocking prompt before accessing the service.

Our problem now is that Transifex can’t access the server either due to this protection, which means that Transifex can sometimes reach the GitLab instance to fetch and update the POT files but usually it doesn’t so I’m getting an influx of errors on daily basis.

What we want to do is to whitelist those requests from Transifex so that they’ll bypass the AI agent protection.

Also I presume that the GitLab integration seems a bit lacking but I think that’s a second priority.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand the AI protection is intermittently blocking Transifex’s sync requests, which is causing the daily errors you’re seeing.

I’ve flagged this internally to investigate what options are available for whitelisting Transifex requests specifically for the GitLab integration. I’ll get back to you with a clear answer as soon as possible.
