We’re excited to announce that Transifex now supports DITA XML files for your translation projects!
What is DITA XML?
DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) XML is a widely-used file format for structured, topic-based authoring of technical content. Each .dita file typically represents a standalone topic, such as a concept, task, or reference document.
Key Features
Transifex automatically extracts translatable content from common DITA elements including titles, paragraphs, list items, table content, and select attribute values. You can also use Smart tags to protect technical elements like code samples and cross-references from being translated.
Getting Started
Ready to translate your DITA documentation? Simply upload your .dita files to your Transifex project, and our parser will automatically detect and prepare your content for translation.
