I want Tips and advice for New Editors?

Hey everyone,

I am exploring the Transifex editor more seriously. I have been playing around with the interface & while it is super intuitive in many ways, I am still wrapping my head around the best practices. do any of you have personal tips or hacks that make your editing workflow smoother? Like using specific shortcuts, glossaries or how you handle repetitive strings?

I am planning to upskill a bit on the project management side of things. Has anyone here ever taken a CSM Online Course? I want to hear if it actually helps in the context of localization projects for someone juggling multiple teams & languages. Also i have check this New Editor Filters For Transifex Live Resources: "URL Not Contains" and "URL Not Starts With" still need advice.

Thank you.

Hi @mitasali

Thanks for heading up to us, workflow can be improved in different ways +.

  • You can use TM Fillup to use previous translations to fill new 100% matches or even fuzzy matches. Functionality may be available depending on your current license.
  • You can also update translations for identical strings. Functionality may be available depending on your current license.
  • About repetitive strings, Transifex will display one instance of a string even it has multiple occurrences in a resource. If it is contained in different resources you will see it in again and can be translated with the previous option.
  • If you are using AI translation you can also auto review string depending on their TQI score. Functionality may be available depending on your current license.
  • You can have multiple instances of a string in a Transifex Live resource as long a you follow the instructions here

About the course, it’s up to you, it can bring good knowledge for you to complement your current career.

For the article that you shared, can you be more specific? This will help us to give you a more accurate answer.
