Vazirmatn is a libre Persian/Arabic typeface designed by Saber Rastikerdar, intended for readability in user interfaces and long-form texts. It is available under the Open Font License.
It would be helpful to have Vazirmatn available in the Transifex web editor, especially for projects involving Persian (Farsi) or Arabic, as it improves legibility and matches modern design standards.
Would it be possible to add this font as an option in the editor?
I am Antonis from the Transifex Customer Success team. I hope you’re well!
I can definitely share your feedback to my team for consideration.
As an alternative you can use an extension like this one that allows you to change fonts per website to any font installed on your system.
There should be similar extensions that allow the same functionality but on a per language basis if you want to target Persian/Arabic text specifically while leaving the rest as is.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need further assistance, and I will be happy to help!
Thanks for the suggestion. I’m currently using a similar extension to change the font, but I think it would be good to have such fonts for Farsi/Arabic texts on the website.
