Hello Transifex Community,

We are thrilled to announce a new update that enhances our subtitles localization capabilities. In addition to the existing support for .srt, .sub, and .sbv files, Transifex now supports WebVTT (.vtt) files as well!

WebVTT is a widely used format for subtitles in HTML5 videos, and this new addition allows you to easily upload, translate, and export your WebVTT subtitle files within Transifex.

A .vtt file typically follows this structure:

Get Started!

To start localizing your WebVTT files, log in to your Transifex account and upload your .vtt files in the same way you would with other supported formats. Our platform will handle the rest, allowing you to focus on creating high-quality, localized subtitles for your content.

We hope this new feature enhances your workflow and helps you reach a broader audience with your localized videos. As always, we value your feedback and look forward to hearing how this new feature is helping you.
