We’re excited to introduce a new API endpoint that allows you to retrieve localization activity data at the project level in Transifex.
What’s new?
With the Get Project Localization Activity endpoint, you can programmatically access detailed insights into how localization work is progressing across your projects.
This includes activity such as:
-
Translated words
-
Edited content
-
Reviewed strings
These metrics are the same ones used in Translation Activity Reports, which help teams track productivity and understand localization efforts.
Why this matters
This endpoint makes it easier to:
-
Monitor localization progress without logging into the UI
-
Estimate costs and effort based on translated/reviewed words
-
Integrate reporting into your workflows
Combined with the Transifex API, you can now embed localization analytics directly into your internal tools or dashboards.

Final thoughts
This new endpoint gives teams more visibility and control over their localization workflows, making it easier to analyze, automate, and scale localization efforts.
As always, we’d love to hear how you plan to use it — feel free to share your use cases or questions below!
