Having a coordinator role also allows you to perform the same actions as a reviewer. You can find more information about user roles in our article here.
Is there an specific reason for having both roles?
Hello! I’ve reviewed your account and didn’t find any blockers preventing you from reviewing strings. Could you please confirm if the issue is still persisting on your side?
I’m Antonis from the Transifex Customer Success team. I hope you’re doing well!
I’d like to help clarify the role assignment issues you’ve been experiencing. Let me explain how team roles work in Transifex:
Team and Language-Specific Roles The Translator, Reviewer, and Language Coordinator roles are both team-specific and language-specific. Currently, you’re part of two teams:
NorrNext team: You have a Reviewer role for Spanish, but this team isn’t assigned to any projects. While you hold the role, there’s no actual content available for you to access or review.
OpenTranslators 1 en-GB_from_opentranslators team: You have a Translator role for Spanish, and this team is assigned to 12 projects. This means you can translate all 12 projects into Spanish, but you cannot review them since you don’t have a Reviewer role in this team.
Regarding Your Previous Language Coordinator Role Since you were previously a Language Coordinator for the NorrNext team (which has no assigned projects), you wouldn’t have been able to access any organization content anyway. So functionally, there’s no change now that you’ve left that role.
Next Steps Transifex generally doesn’t interfere with other organizations’ role management unless the organization is abandoned. To resolve your access needs, I recommend:
Contact a Project Maintainer or Organization Administrator to request Reviewer or Language Coordinator permissions
Reach out directly to NorrNext or their administrators to discuss project assignments and role requirements
If you need help identifying the right contacts or have any other questions about how team roles work, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll be happy to help.
